Alfa has issued the following statement:
Beirut, May 24, 2025 – Operations at the Baykoun mobile station in the upper Chouf district were disrupted around 6:00 p.m. today due to an act of sabotage. Unknown individuals damaged technical equipment at the site and stole batteries causing a partial voice and data outage in some areas in the upper regions of the Chouf and Jezzine districts.
Technical teams repaired the damage and services resumed normally around 8:00 p.m.
Alfa apologizes to its subscribers who were impacted by the outage and is in the process of taking all necessary legal and judicial actions against the perpetrators.
